Alpine Information Center to issue Christmas Tree permits today

(Jackson, Wyo.) - The Alpine Information Center will be open on today from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. to sell Christmas Tree permits and give out Every Kid in the Park durable passes to 4th graders who have paper vouchers. “We are glad to provide this service for visitors to acquire their Christmas tree permits” said Adriene Holcomb, acting District Ranger for the Greys River Ranger District, “it’s really a great activity to enjoy with the whole family that also helps maintain the health of the Forest by reducing overcrowding.” Along with Christmas tree permit sales, staff will also be exchanging Every Kid in the Park paper vouchers for durable passes. These passes will allow every 4th grader and their family to enter fee-free at most federal agencies until August 2016 and they can also get a free under 12-feet tree permit. Both paper vouchers and hard passes are valid for all promotions. *Feature Photo: h/t Bridger-Teton National Forest / Pitchengine Communities* #buckrail #news #whatshappening
