Weekend Dispatch: DUIs, sexual assault and 10 auto collisions

(Jackson, Wyo.) – Here is a recap of local dispatch and law enforcement activity from this past weekend in the Town of Jackson and Teton County. All persons arrested or cited are presumed innocent until proven guilty. There were 117 calls to the area dispatch on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. *Crime Reports and Arrests * Sexual Assault: At 11:19 on Friday morning, a person reported to the Jackson Police Department that a sexual assault that occurred approximately six months ago. At the request of the victim, no additional follow-up will be conducted. DUI: On Friday at 4:23 p.m., Jackson Police officers responded to an injury collision on South Highway 89 at Maple Way. The investigation determined that a vehicle had entered the ‘T’ intersection from Maple Way but failed to turn either right or left, instead continuing straight and colliding with the hillside. After climbing the hillside a short distance, the vehicle turned left, crossed the two southbound lanes and the center turn lane of Highway 89 and collided head on with a northbound vehicle. Officers determined the driver of the vehicle was intoxicated and as a result, Calvin Michael White, 59, of Jackson was charged with felony DUI causing serious injury. DUI: Early Sunday morning at 2:14 a.m., according to the Jackson Police Department, a vehicle was stopped for failure to maintain a lane. The driver had many objectives signs of intoxication and failed field sobriety tests. As a result, Jake H Domsky, 23, of Jackson was charged with DUI. *Collisions* There were ten auto collisions this past weekend, four that involved injuries and one hit and run. *Other* Other dispatch reports included animal control complaints, snow tow warnings, lost and found property, warrant attempts, citizen assists, medical transports, and medical assists. #buckrail #news
