Tuesday Dispatch: Suspicious person and hit and run

(Jackson, Wyo.) – Here is a recap of local dispatch and law enforcement activity from yesterday in the Town of Jackson and Teton County. All persons arrested or cited are presumed innocent until proven guilty. There were 61 calls to the area dispatch on Tuesday, December 8. *Crime Reports and Arrests* Suspicious Person: At 6:27 p.m. on Tuesday, a person reported to the Jackson Police Department that two males were in her business and she felt as though they were “casing” her store. She felt they were dressed in a way to conceal their identity and they entered into non-public areas of the business. According to the Jackson PD, the subjects are unknown. *Collisions* There were seven auto collisions yesterday, including one that involved injuries and one hit and run. Hit and Run: On Tuesday at 11:41 a.m., a woman called the Jackson Police Department to report a hit and run over the phone. She indicated to the Jackson PD that she would come into the police department with vehicle so a report could be made. She has not been in yet. *Other* Other dispatch reports included motorist assists, road hazards, snow tow citations, citizen assists, animal control calls, lost and found property, and traffic problems. #buckrail #news
