Thursday Dispatch: Drug offense, court arrests and more

(Jackson, Wyo.) – Here is a recap of local dispatch and law enforcement activity from yesterday in the Town of Jackson and Teton County. All persons arrested or cited are presumed innocent until proven guilty. There were 58 calls to the area dispatch on Thursday, December 10. *Crime Reports and Arrests * Drug Offense: At 3:18 a.m. on Thursday, a security guard found a baggie containing a white powdery substance outside of a local bar. He believed to be an illegal substance and contacted the Jackson Police Department. The substance was determined to be cocaine. According to the Jackson PD, with no way to determine who had possessed the cocaine, it was booked into evidence for destruction. Driving without a Driver's License: On Thursday, Nury Hernandez-Lopez, 34, of Jackson was arrested for driving without a driver's license. Contempt of Court: On Thursday, Ethan James Lee, 33, of Jackson was arrested for contempt of court. *Collisions* There were four total auto collisions yesterday, none of which involved injuries. *Other* Other dispatch reports included snow tow citations, citizen assists, motorist assists, animal control calls, abandoned vehicles, medical assists, lost and found property, and outside agency assists. #buckrail #news
