Will we have a White Christmas? Here are our odds...

(Jackson, Wyo.) - What is Jackson Hole's probability of having a White Christmas? According to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administrations's National Climate Data Center, it's pretty good. A recent report from NOAA shows the “Historical Probability of a White Christmas” map, which is a climatological probability of at least 1 inch of snow being on the ground on December 25 in the contiguous U.S. For Western Wyoming, the chance is pretty high, at least historically. The area shows a 91 - 100 percent chance of snow on the ground for Christmas. The forecast is based on a 30 year average of several climatological measurements. *Feature Photo: NOAA Climate.gov, NCDC / Pitchengine Communities* #buckrail #news
