Holiday Weekend Dispatch: DUI, public intox and trespass

Jackson, Wyo.) – Here is a recap of local dispatch and law enforcement activity from this past holiday weekend in the Town of Jackson and Teton County. All persons arrested or cited are presumed innocent until proven guilty. There were 264 calls to the area dispatch on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. *Crime Reports and Arrests* DUI: At 6:59 a.m. on Wednesday, according to the Jackson Police Department, a subject mandated by court to appear for morning breath tests arrived under the influence of alcohol. The subject failed field sobriety testing and as a result, Douglas Miller, 27, of Jackson was arrested. Mental Hold: At 9:34 a.m. on Wednesday, Jackson Police officers responded to a disturbance call. Officers determined a female subject was attempting to commit suicide and took her into protective custody. Public Intox: At 1:03 a.m. on Thursday, Jackson Police officers contacted an intoxicated subject staggering down sidewalk. The subject didn’t know his address. As a result, Matthew Pinson, 50, of Alpine was arrested for public intoxication. Minor Under the Influence: On Friday at 3:23 a.m., Jackson Police officers found a subject intoxicated outside a bar after the bar had closed. The subject was found to be under 21 years old and as a result, Keythi Cruz-Reymundo, 18, of Jackson, was arrested for minor under the influence. DUI: On Sunday at 1:34 a.m., a Jackson Police officer stopped a subject for speeding and found the person to be intoxicated. The man failed field sobriety testing and, as a result, Sean Rorke, 25, Salt Lake City, Utah was arrested for driving under the influence. Trespass: On Sunday at 10:44 p.m., according to the Jackson Police Department, a subject at a hotel pointed a gun at a maintenance worker. The man refused to leave motel and was arrested for trespassing. The man, identified as Robert Pfeiffer, 52, of Bondurant, was later charged with aggravated assault. *Collisions* There were 19 auto collisions this past holiday weekend. *Other* Other dispatch reports driving complaints, snow tow citations. road hazards, lost and found property, citizen assists, animal control calls, motorist assists, and more. #buckrail #news
