Wednesday Dispatch: Battery, auto theft, public intox and 13 auto crashes

(Jackson, Wyo.) – Here is a recap of local dispatch and law enforcement activity from yesterday in the Town of Jackson and Teton County. All persons arrested or cited are presumed innocent until proven guilty. There were 60 calls to the area dispatch on Wednesday, December 30. *Crime Reports and Arrests * Battery: At 1:07 a.m. on Wednesday, according to the Jackson Police Department, two taxi drivers got into an altercation and one of the drivers shoved the other. The driver who did the shoving was cited and released. Auto Theft: At 8:22 a.m. on Wednesday, a person reported to the Jackson Police Department that their car was taken from the driveway without their permission and found a short distance away stuck in a snowbank. Public Intox: On Wednesday evening at 11:23 p.m., according to the Jackson Police Department, 21-year-old Bryton Hess was arrested for Public Intoxication when she passed out in a restaurants bathroom and couldn’t tell officers where she lived and had vomited on herself. *Collisions * There were 13 total auto collisions yesterday, including one hit and run and one that involved injuries. *Other* Other dispatch reports included citizen assists, driving complaints, snow tow citations, medical assists, motorist assists, and lost and found property. #buckrail #news
