Deadline approaches for the 6th session of the Start-Up Institute

(Jackson, Wyo.) - Today, Silicon Couloir and Central Wyoming College announced that the 6th session of the Start-Up Institute will begin on April 12. Applications for this session are due by February 1. The Start-Up Institute is an intensive entrepreneurship program designed to provide participants with the tools, frameworks and skills that winning companies utilize to launch successful business ideas. The most recent fall program included several wellness related ventures, a gaming bar for nerds, a next generation electronic medical record, a civil engineering firm, an international plastics recycling venture, a limo car service, a swimwear line for full-figured women and more. “It’s like a condensed MBA program, entirely focused on your business idea. Going into our 6th program, we couldn’t be more excited to help as many entrepreneurs as we can take their ideas to the next level," said Start-Up Institute Program Director Liza Millet. From April 12, 2016 through June 16, 2106, 12-14 participants will dedicate three full days per week to class time in addition to working through their ideas after class hours. The class ends with participants presenting their businesses to a panel of experienced advisors. Once the class time program concludes, participants are given ten hours of follow up consulting time with a panel of experts to use as they move forward. Sandy Schultz Hessler, who teaches the program, has taught at Harvard, Tufts University and U. Miami Ohio and has been a successful entrepreneur and marketing professional.
