(Jackson, Wyo.) - Tonight, the Teton County School District (TCSD) Board of Trustees will hold one last workshop to discuss several important district issues before taking action on them on Wednesday. Tonight's meeting will focus on three main issues -- grade level configuration, dual immersion configuration and a preferred option to address capacity issues. "The purpose of tonight is to go over all three options in a fair amount of detail, give the board and the public an opportunity to ask questions and then give the board a couple of days to mull over the information provided by staff tonight as well as the public's comments, questions and concerns prior to taking action on Wednesday," said TCSD Information Coordinator Charlotte Reynolds. Charlotte said the intent is to take action on all three of these issues at the regular TCSD Board of Trustees meeting on Wednesday. "The big thing is that the public understands that the board of trustees is making some pretty important decisions for the future of our district and our students and I think community involvement and input is going to be a factor in their decision making," said Reynolds. "Anyone interested is encouraged to attend tonight's meeting Wednesday's board meeting." "These are important decisions that will affect the district for a long time to come," she added.
