21 local singers to perform at Carnegie Hall in NYC tomorrow

(Jackson, Wyo.) - Tomorrow, 21 singers from the Cathedral Voices Chamber Choir will perform at Carnegie Hall in New York City. In November 2015, the choir announced that it was invited by Distinguished Concerts International New York City (DCINY) to participate in a performance of *The Music of Dan Forrest.* “The Cathedral Voices Chamber Choir received this invitation because of the quality and high level of musicianship demonstrated by the singers...,” said Dr. Jonathan Griffith, Artistic Director and Principal Conductor for DCINY. “These wonderful musicians not only represent a high quality of music and education, but they also become ambassadors for the entire community…deserving of the community’s recognition and support.” Cathedral Voices will sing with 10 other ensembles from across the United States and Canada (Mississippi, South Carolina, Florida, Ohio, Kentucky, Utah, Texas, Idaho, and Calgary, Canada), creating a large 200-member chorus of voices with a full orchestra under the baton of guest conductor Dr. Jo-Michael Scheibe. *Feature Photo: h/t Cathedral Voices Chamber Choir / Pitchengine Communities * #buckrail #news
