(Jackson, Wyo.) - The National Weather Service Riverton Office has issued a Winter Weather Advisory
for Jackson Hole until 5 p.m. tonight.
The advisory states that snow will continue to spread and increase in
intensity throughout the morning. The heaviest snow is expected from around
sunrise through early afternoon and will taper off late in the afternoon.
Jackson and most of Star Valley is expected to get 3 to 5 inches of snow,
while Northern Star Valley from Alpine to Bedford may see 6 to 8 inches of
Additionally, 15 to 20 MPH winds will cause drifting and blowing snow, so
area roads and mountain passes may see hazardous travel at times.
