Thursday Dispatch: DUI, domestic violence, theft of services and more

(Jackson, Wyo.) – Here is a recap of local dispatch and law enforcement activity from yesterday in the Town of Jackson and Teton County. All persons arrested or cited are presumed innocent until proven guilty. There were 55 calls to the area dispatch on Thursday, January 21. *Crime Reports and Arrests * Domestic Violence: At 9:32 p.m. on Thursday, Jackson Police officers responded to a report of a roommate who had punched another roommate. Officers arrived and could hear yelling inside. Upon contacting the parties it was determined that they had been drinking when one of the suddenly attacked the other, punching him numerous times. Based on this, the subject was arrested for domestic battery. After placing the subject under arrest, he refused to get into the car and attempted to kick an officer in the face while they were placing him in the car for transport. As a result, the charge of interference with a peace officer was added. DUI: On Thursday at 10:12 p.m., Jackson Police officers were dispatched to a call of a disturbance inside a vehicle that was on Broadway. The caller was the victim who reported her boyfriend was being abusive towards her. During the call to dispatch, the call disconnected. Officers located the vehicle and made a traffic stop. Upon contacting the driver, it was determined that he appeared to be intoxicated. The subject failed field sobriety tests and was placed under arrest for DUI. After completing the disturbance investigation the subject was additionally charged with battery and interference with emergency calls. Theft of Services: At 10:43 p.m. on Thursday, a taxi driver reported to the Jackson Police Department that he gave five individuals a ride. They began to cause a disturbance in the taxi and the driver asked them to get out. Once they got out, they refused to pay for the fare. According to the Jackson PD, the suspects were not located. Contempt of Court: On Thursday, Gabriel Del Stickney, 19, of Star Valley Ranch was arrested for contempt of Court. DUI: On Thursday, Francisco Antonio-Montes, 36, of Jackson was arrested for driving under the influence. *Collisions* There were five total auto collisions yesterday, including one that involved injuries and one hit and run. *Other* Other dispatch reports included snow tow warnings, road hazards, animal control calls, citizen assists, code enforcements, medical assists and driving complaints. #buckrail #news
