Wednesday Dispatch: Warrant arrest and theft

(Jackson, Wyo.) – Here is a recap of local dispatch and law enforcement activity from yesterday in the Town of Jackson and Teton County. All persons arrested or cited are presumed innocent until proven guilty. There were 34 calls to the area dispatch on Wednesday, January 27. *Crime Reports and Arrests * Warrant: At 3:06 p.m. on Wednesday, Jackson Police officers were notified of the location of a subject who had an active arrest warrant. Subsequently, Riley J Sills, 35, of Jackson was placed under arrest. Theft: On Wednesday at 10:54 p.m., a Jackson Police officer was dispatched to a local restaurant on a report of an employee theft. It was reported that an employee quit abruptly. Immediately thereafter, it was determined that the cash register was short by more than $100.00. Follow-up continues to locate the suspect. *Collisions * There were two auto collisions yesterday. *Other* Other dispatch reports included snow tow warnings, motorist assists, citizen assists, animal control calls, road hazards and lost and found property. #buckrail #news
