Jean Lewis to lead Jackson Hole Children’s Museum

(Jackson, Wyo.) - Today, the Jackson Hole Children’s Museum (JHCM) announced that they have selected Jean Lewis as executive director. Previously, Lewis was the Early Education Director for JHCM. Lewis is passionate about leading JHCM and taking the organization to the next level. She brings 10 years of nonprofit development and teaching experience from CLIMB Wyoming, Journeys School and the El Pomar Foundation in Colorado Springs. "Jean believes in the power of independent thinking, play and hands-on discovery to drive learning," said JHCM in a release issued today. "She is committed to enhancing the JH Children’s Museum’s in-school programming, growing the membership base and continuing to provide a quality space that encourages enriching interactions between children and their caregivers." “I have been an advocate for the JH Children’s Museum since it’s inception 4 years ago, and am thrilled to have the opportunity to serve in this capacity. My goal is to guide the JH Children’s Museum to reach it’s full potential as an exceptional nonprofit and an innovative space that encourages creative thinking and learning through play,” said Lewis.
