Happening Today: Mardi Gras Mambo, First Sundays, Live Music and More

(Jackson, Wyo.) - Here's what's happening around town on Sunday: *First Sundays at the National Museum of Wildlife Art:* This Sunday, February 7 is free admission to the National Museum of Wildlife Art. There will also be screenings of ­­National Geographic "America’s Endangered Species: Don’t Say Good-Bye" at 11:30 a.m., 1 p.m., and 2:30 p.m.. Enjoy live music in the lobby by the Minor Keys from 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. *Mardi Gras Mambo: *From 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. at the Jackson Hole Children's Museum, there is a Mardi Gras celebration. They will be doing crafts as well as building festive floats to parade around the museum. *Skijoring:* The skijoring competition is at Snake River Ranch, just outside of Teton Village at 1 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.More information on the competition is available here . *Live Music with the Stagecoach Band:* Tonight starting at 6 p.m., the World Famous Stagecoach Band “Church”Stagecoach Bar Style will perform great country music and dancing This band has played every Sunday for over 40 years. *Apres with Major Zephyr:* Starting at 4 p.m. at the Mangy Moose in Teton Village, Major Zephyr will play live music. The event is free. *Taize at St. John’s Episcopal Church:* From 7 -8 p.m. on Sunday, Taize is an all-inclusive sung and silent participatory prayer service designed to achieve a contemplative state through music, song and silence.
