Monday Dispatch: Domestic violence, theft, drug offense and more

(Jackson, Wyo.) – Here is a recap of local dispatch and law enforcement activity from yesterday in the Town of Jackson and Teton County. All persons arrested or cited are presumed innocent until proven guilty. There were 50 calls to the area dispatch on Monday, February 8. *Crime Reports and Arrests * Domestic Violence: On Monday at 3:33 a.m., Jackson Police officers responded to a disturbance call and learned a husband had battered his wife during a dispute. The Jackson PD arrested the husband. Theft: At 8:13 a.m. on Monday, a person reported to the Jackson Police Department that their purse containing their wallet was lost and is presumed stolen. Drug Offense: On Monday at 10:75 a.m., according to the Jackson Police Department, Eric Verster of Jackson cited and released for possession of controlled substances when officers found controlled substances in his vehicle. Warrant: At 12:01 p.m. on Monday, according to the Jackson Police Department, Darin Lish of Jackson was arrested on warrants for failing to appear on traffic and possession of controlled substance charges. *Collisions * Yesterday, there was one hit and run collision. *Other* Other dispatch reports included animal control calls, snow tow citations, driving complaints, road hazards, medical assists, motorist assists, and citizen assists. #buckrail #news
