Lonely Planet releases the top 10 U.S. places to see in 2016 and this WY spot made the list

(Jackson, Wyo.) - Lonely Planet has released a list of the "Best in the U.S.: Our most unexpectedly exciting places to see in the United States in 2016," and one Wyoming spot made the list. According to the article, "Lonely Planet’s travel experts have scoured the states to create the ultimate US travel wish list for 2016. Some of our choices are perennial favorites, while others are just stepping into the spotlight, but all have one thing in common: now is the time to go." Yellowstone National Park was #3 on the list. "The US National Park Service turns 100 in 2016 – why not celebrate the big event in the place where it all began: the geyser-studded landscape of Yellowstone," states the article. Philadelphia, Pennsylvania was listed as #1 and Natchez Mississippi was ranked #2.
