'Minimester' gives students a chance to scrub in, explore space and more

(Jackson, Wyo.) - This week, some local students are getting a chance to try their hand at different careers and trades through a "minimester." The Jackson Hole Community School is holding a "minimester" week, where the students attend classes each day to get an introduction to a new skill like jewelry making, radio hosting or healthy living, and/or a potential career path like surgical operating or culinary projects. From Tuesday through today, students spent all day in classes of their choosing including Glass Blowing, Scrubs: Medical Internship, NASA Workshop, Creative Writing, A Culinary Tour, Avalanche Awareness, Silversmithing and more. Here are some photos from this week's "minimester:" *[image: Inline image 1][image: Inline image 2][image: Inline image 6][image: Inline image 5][image: Inline image 7][image: Inline image 3][image: Inline image 4][image: Inline image 8]* *All photos h/t Jackson Hole Community School / Pitchengine Communities* #buckrail #news
