*24th Annual Moose Chase Marathon:* Today starting at 10 a.m. at the Trail
Creek Nordic Center, the Moose Chase Marathon gives outdoor enthusiasts
throughout the Intermountain West the opportunity to race in our beautiful
valley while raising funds to support young athletes. The event annually
draws over 300 athletes of all ages and abilities and is held at the Trail
Creek Nordic Center in Wilson, WY base of Teton Pass. The event consists of
a full 30km Marathon, a 15km half Marathon, 5km Mini Moose Chase, a 3km
Mini-Mini Moose Chase as well as Bob's Mini-est Moose Chase which is a 1/2K
. This fun event includes cash and gear prizes, a raffle and lunch provided
for everyone! Park at Stilson lot and grab a shuttle to the race.
*Ranger-Led Snowshoe Hike:* Today starting at 1:30 p.m., join a ranger for
an educational and fun hike through the snow. Rangers offer guided
from the Taggart Lake Trailhead. Programs begin on December 26 and run
through mid-March, 2015, conditions permitting. Reservations are required,
call 307-739-3399 for more details and to make reservations. Please wear
appropriate winter clothing (e.g. hat, gloves, snow/wind pants, boots,
etc.) and don't forget your sunscreen and sunglasses. Snowshoes are
available from the Grand Teton Association for a suggested donation of $5.
Hikes last two hours, ending at 3:30 p.m.
*Teton Valley Winter Farmer's Market: *MD Nursery is once again running
their Winter Farmer's Market. The market is held every Saturday until March
12 in Driggs, Idaho.
*Teton Pass Winterfest:* The weekend-long festivities include live music,
ski and board demos, raffles and more. Get the full schedule in Buckrail's

*Pinedale Winter Carnival:* The Pinedale Winter Carnival includes snow
sculptures, Skijoring, ski racing, and more. Details and the full schedule

*Chanman Solo at the K Bar: *On Saturday from 4 - 6 p.m., Chanman will play
apres' ski at the K Bar in Teton Mountain Lodge. Songs from Chanman's new
CD "Chanman solo," ski bum originals and standards. The live music
is free and open to all.
*3rd Annual Beer and Chocolate Pairing: *3rd Annual Beer and Chocolate
Pairing with the Meeteetse Chocolatier from 4-7 p.m. at Snake River
Brewery. There will be 5 stations, each $5 for a beer and chocolate
pairing. Those who attend can try just one or all five. Gift boxes will
also be available for purchase.
*Party for a Purpose:* Tonight at 6 p.m., The Silver Dollar Bar has teamed
with our local Teton Habitat to raise money for Global Village to build
homes in Colombia. Tons of great raffle prizes, live music with Maw Band
from Montana and a percentage of food & drink specials will be donated by
the Silver Dollar Bar.
*Cure for the Common:* Tonight starting at 10 p.m. at the Town Square
Tavern is Montana-grown Electro Thunder Funk for your listening, jamming
and dancing pleasure! $5 at the door.
