(Jackson, Wyo.) - Town Manager, Bob McLaurin, announced late last week that Carl Pelletier has been named public information officer for the Town of Jackson. In his new position, Pelletier will be responsible for the development, management and implementation of public information activities that will cover a variety of the Town’s key issues as well as print communications and media relations. Pelletier has been employed by the Town of Jackson for more than two years processing special events in town and assisting with personnel matters. He will continue working with special events in addition to the PIO responsibilities. “We’ve been looking to improve our communication with the community for some time and Carl has proven through his work with special events that this has the skills that we are looking for. We’re excited to work with Carl in this new capacity,” said McLaurin. A graduate of Benedictine University and Clemson University with Bachelor of Arts in Finance and a Master of Science in Parks, Recreation and Tourism Travel, respectively, Pelletier came to the Town of Jackson after working for eight years with Wilderness Adventures in Wilson. “I am truly honored to have this opportunity to continue to serve in this community with the Town of Jackson,” Pelletier said. *Feature Photo: Carl Pelletier. h/t Carl Pelletier / Pitchengine Communities* #buckrail #news
