Tonight's Foreign Policy Discussion to focus on International Migration

(Jackson, Wyo.) - Teton County Library’s Foreign Policy Discussion series meets tonight to talk about “International Migration.” According to the event description, "With a record number of migrants crossing the Mediterranean Sea to seek refuge in Europe, European countries are struggling to respond. Today, the number of displaced people globally is at an all-time high. World powers, including the United States, are facing tough questions: how can they balance border security with humanitarian concerns? What can they do to resolve crises in order to limit the number of displaced persons?" During the event, attendees will watch a 25-minute video to get up to speed on the topic followed by group discussion. Veteran discussion leaders John Hebberger Jr. and David Wendt guide the conversation. This weekly discussion series is presented in partnership with the Foreign Policy Association's Great Decisions, America's largest discussion program on world affairs with groups meeting nationwide. The event takes place in the Ordway Auditorium in the Teton County Library and begins at 6 p.m. The event is free and open to the public. Sign up is not required. *Feature Photo: h/t Teton County Library / Pitchengine Communities* #buckrail #news #whatshappening
