Monday Dispatch: Warrant, theft and 4 auto collisions

(Jackson, Wyo.) – Here is a recap of local dispatch and law enforcement activity from yesterday in the Town of Jackson and Teton County. All persons arrested or cited are presumed innocent until proven guilty. There were 61 calls to the area dispatch on Monday, February 22. *Crime Reports and Arrests * Warrant: At 12:01 a.m. on Monday morning, Jackson Police officers observed a vehicle parked in an area that prohibits overnight parking. They found a subject was inside the vehicle and when they contacted him it was determined he had a warrant for failure to appear. As a result, Samuel Paul Mazerik, 29, of Jackson was placed under arrest. Theft: On Monday at 4:27 p.m., a subject reported to the Jackson Police Department that her juvenile daughter had dropped a pair of goggles on the sidewalk and had not noticed. Once she noticed, about a half block later, she ran back to get the goggles only to see a male subject stop his car, get out, grab the goggles and drive off. According to the Jackson PD, follow-up continues to identify the driver of the vehicle. Probation Revocation: On Monday, according to the Teton County Sheriff's Office Inmate List, Debbie Marie Furlong, 23, of Afton was arrested for a probation revocation. *Collisions * Yesterday, there were four auto collisions. *Other* Other dispatch reports included pedestrian stops, animal control calls, snow tow warnings, citizen assists, driving complaints, code enforcements, false alarms, and motorist assists. #buckrail #news
