(Jackson, Wyo.) - Here are five free events happening around Jackson Hole this weekend: *1. Stargazing at the Center for the Arts: *Starting at 7:30 p.m. tonight at the Center for the arts, Wyoming Stargazing is hosting free public stargazing event. They will be set up on the large lawn right next to the Center. During the stargazing events they will be using their giant Dobsonian Telescope with a 20″ primary mirror to look at planets, stars, nebulae, galaxies, and more. They will also bring several iPads with the Star Walk application installed on them so you can explore the heavens while others are looking through the telescopes. *2. Miller House Tour: *The historic Miller House on the National Elk Refuge will be open to the public later this month for a unique winter visit to the site. Though the Miller House is only open seasonally from late May to mid–September, Refuge staff will open the door to the historic landmark on Saturday, February 27 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Visitors to the Miller House that day will be able to enjoy the home as hundreds of elk winter nearby. 4. *Chanman Solo at the K Bar: *On Saturday from 4 - 6 p.m., Chanman will play apres' ski at the K Bar in Teton Mountain Lodge. Songs from Chanman's new CD "Chanman solo," ski bum originals and standards. The live music is free and open to all. *4. Quenby & the West of Wayland Band: *On Saturday night starting at 7:30 p.m. at the Silver Dollar Showroom, Quenby & the West of Wayland Band will perform live. The show is free. *5. Crazy Tom’s 10th Annual Ultra Formal Oscar Party:* Starting at 5 p.m. at the Town Square Tavern is Crazy Tom's 10th Annual Ultra Formal Oscar Party. The event includes drink specials, live DJ during Commercials, and formal attire is recommended. There will be a prize For Best Dressed Male and Female. The event is free to attend.
