Leap Day Dispatch: Suspicious circumstances, DUI, and hit and run

(Jackson, Wyo.) – Here is a recap of local dispatch and law enforcement activity from yesterday in the Town of Jackson and Teton County. All persons arrested or cited are presumed innocent until proven guilty. There were 55 calls to the area dispatch on Monday, February 29. *Crime Reports and Arrests * Suspicious Circumstances: At 5:08 p.m. on Monday, subjects reported to the Jackson Police Department that an unknown person entered their home while they were home and moved items inside around. According to the Jackson PD, follow-up continues. DUI: On Monday according to the Teton County Inmate List, Michael Daniel Quinn, 43, of Victor, Idaho was arrested for driving under the influence. *Collisions * Yesterday, there was one hit and run collision. Hit and Run: On Monday at 1:21 p.m., a witness reported to the Jackson Police Department that a vehicle had backed into a parked and unattended vehicle and fled the scene without leaving any information. A license plate number and vehicle description were provided. Officers located the suspect vehicle and subsequently charged the driver with hit and run. *Other* Other dispatch reports included snow tow citations, lost and found property, citizen assists, driving complaints, animal control calls, and false alarms. #buckrail #news
