Kids lend a hand at local animal shelter

(Jackson, Wyo.) - The kids of the Teton County/Jackson Parks and Recreation Lend a Hand Colter Discovery Club helped out the pets at the Animal Adoption Center for the last two weeks. During the time at the Animal Adoption Center, the kids played with the dogs and cats, created art to help the animals, and even volunteered to clean litter boxes. "The kids who came the second Friday had the chance to make colorful posters for a cat or dog, talking about the qualities that would make it a good candidate for adoption. These posters are hanging outside the kennels at the adoption center in hopes to help get the animals adopted!" said Rachael Zimmerman, Youth Club Coordinator.
