2 men arrested in Jackson get jail time for illegal re-entry

(Jackson, Wyo.) - Two men arrested for illegal re-entry of a previously deported undocumented immigrant were sentenced in Federal District Court on Tuesday, March 1. Jose Yanez-Salinas, 27, of Mexico, was sentenced by Federal District Court Judge Alan B. Johnson on March 1, 2016, for illegal re-entry of a previously deported undocumented immigrant into the United States. Yanez-Salinas was arrested in Jackson, Wyoming. He received time served, plus 10 days, was ordered to pay a $100.00 special assessment and is subject to deportation upon release from custody. This case was investigated by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. Jose Luis Cruz-Ramos, 40, of Mexico, was sentenced by Federal District Court Judge Alan B. Johnson on March 1, 2016, for illegal re-entry of a previously deported undocumented immigrant into the United States. Cruz-Ramos was arrested in Jackson, Wyoming. He received time served, plus 10 days, was ordered to pay a $100.00 special assessment and is subject to deportation upon release from custody.
