(Jackson, Wyo.) - The Jackson Hole Airport is currently looking for bids to help complete the next step of its renovation, the Art Circle. The Jackson Hole Airport recently completed a terminal expansion with the goal of improving both the functionality and aesthetics of the airport. The expansion included improved landscaping adjacent to the terminal building, as well as a number of art installations. "The parking lot and traffic patterns for the Airport were left largely unchanged throughout the project, and now stand in contrast to the terminal building," stated the Jackson Hole Airport in a release. The airport is looking for bids to help complete the Art Circle
improvements, including new curbing and asphalt for the new “art circle”
and road realignment, parking striping; Demolition of existing, curb,
asphalt, trees; Art/sculpture footings and associated mounting/
connections; Native landscape plantings and restoration; Permanent and
temporary irrigation system; Large rock formations (list of pre-approved
sub-contractor will be provided); Accent lighting for sculpture and rock
formations; Relocation of existing and new parking lot lighting; Relocation
of entry signs; Stone way finding/monument sign; Traffic and interpretive
signs; Storm water improvements; Electrical and other utility modifications
impacted by construction; and Parking and roadway striping.
A Pre-Bid Conference for the project will be held Friday March 11 at 2 p.m.
in the Airport Administration Offices Conference Room, located at 1250 East
Airport Road, Jackson, Wyoming 83001.
Sealed bids, subject to the conditions contained herein, for improvements
to Jackson Hole Airport, Jackson, Wyoming, will be received by the Jackson
Hole Airport Board, 1250 E. Airport Road, Jackson Hole Airport, Jackson,
Wyoming, 83001, until Friday, March 25, 1 p.m. local time, and then
publicly opened and read aloud.
Construction, installation and commissioning of this project is expected to
be completed within sixty-three (63) continuous calendar days between April
11, 2016 and June 10, 2016.
