Saturday Events: Winter farmer's market, Music Under the Tram, and more

(Jackson, Wyo.) - Here's what's happening today around town: *Teton County Republican Party Convention:* The Teton County Republican Party will hold it's 2016 County Convention on Saturday March 11th, 9 am. We will conduct business surrounding platforms, resolutions, bylaws and nominate candidates to the State Convention the first part of the morning. After business is completed we will hear from the our State representatives as well as any candidates who are running for the US House. The general public can attend the convention, voting delegates will be selected at the County Caucus on March 1st. In order to participate in the County Caucus you must be a registered Republican by February 17, 2016. *Teton Valley Winter Farmer's Market: *From 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. in the heated greenhouse from 10-2 every Saturday from January 2nd through March 12th. Check out the local offerings of honey, linens, artwork, ceramics, baked goods, prepared foods, eggs, preserves, meat, jewelry and more. *Ranger-Led Snowshoe Hike:* Today starting at 1:30 p.m., join a ranger for an educational and fun hike through the snow. Rangers offer guided snowshoe hikes from the Taggart Lake Trailhead. Programs begin on December 26 and run through mid-March, 2015, conditions permitting. Reservations are required, call 307-739-3399 for more details and to make reservations. Please wear appropriate winter clothing (e.g. hat, gloves, snow/wind pants, boots, etc.) and don't forget your sunscreen and sunglasses. Snowshoes are available from the Grand Teton Association for a suggested donation of $5. Hikes last two hours, ending at 3:30 p.m. *Screen Door Porch at The Trap:* Today, Screen Door Porch will play for free at The Trap Bar & Grill starting at 3 p.m. *Clicquot In The Snow: *Join Four Seasons as we feature Veuve Clicquot champagne for an exclusive apres ski event at the Westbank Terrace. Tickets are $50 per person and include two glasses of champagne alongside paired small bites. Tickets may be purchased on the day of the event or in advance by calling (307) 732 5175. *Music Under the Tram - Misfit Moonshiners:* Today is the Music Under the Tram series at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort and will feature theMisfit Moonshiners. *Chanman Solo at the K Bar: *On Saturday from 4 - 6 p.m., Chanman will play apres' ski at the K Bar in Teton Mountain Lodge. Songs from Chanman's new CD "Chanman solo," ski bum originals and standards. The live music is free and open to all. *Jackson Hole Community School's Spring Fever Gala:* Tonight starting at 6 p.m., at the Murie Ballroom, Hotel Terra in Teton Village is the Jackson Hole Community School's Spring Fever Gala. The event includes a buffet dinner, entertainment by the JHCS Jazz Band and more. The cost os $100 per ticket. *Gary Small & The Coyote Brothers: *Today starting at 7:30 p.m. at the Silver Dollar Showroom, Gary Small & The Coyote Brothers will play live music for free. *Big Wild, Head to Head:* Tonight, starting at 9 p.m. at the Pink Garter Theatre, Big Wild and Head to Head will play a show.
