Wednesday Dispatch: Destruction of property, DUI and 8 collisions

(Jackson, Wyo.) – Here is a recap of local dispatch and law enforcement activity from yesterday in the Town of Jackson and Teton County. All persons arrested or cited are presumed innocent until proven guilty. There were 65 calls to the area dispatch on Wednesday, March 16. *Crime Reports and Arrests * Destruction of Property: On Wednesday at 5:53 p.m., a business reported to the Jackson Police Department that several locks had been damaged at separate times in the recent past. According to the Jackson PD, it appears as though the incidents were unrelated. DUI: At 11:45 p.m. on Wednesday, a Jackson Police officer stopped a vehicle for careless driving after observing it fishtailing and going into the oncoming lane. Upon contacting the driver, objective signs of intoxication were noted. The subject failed field sobriety tests and as a result, Joshua Freeman Banks, 21, of Jackson was charged with DUI. *Collisions * There were eight auto collisions yesterday. *Other* Other dispatch reports included citizen assists, snow tow warnings, lost and found property, motorist assists, driving complaints, and animal control calls. #buckrail #news
