Dancers' Workshop to host free Spring Showing

(Jackson, Wyo.) - Tomorrow night, the Junior Repertory Company (JRC) at Dances' workshop will host a free Spring Showing. Performing a Spring Showing tomorrow night are the dancers that make up Company I, representing the most dedicated members of JRC. They are instructed in more than 10 hours of class each week including Modern, Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Pilates, Company Class, and Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors take Choreography. The performance will incorporate dance solos and duets while highlighting photography by one of JRC's Senior dancers, Sydney Bryan. According to Dancers' Workshop, the choreography ranges in style, but the through line for the performance is the imagery revealed in the process. "It has been a wonderful collaboration for the JRC Company I dancers and their choreographers, including Rachel Holmes, Francesca Romo, Lindsey Briggs, Luke Zender, Cady Cox and Lindsay Larson," said Dancers' Workshop in an email. The performance will feature Sofie Thompson, Sarah Lemerande, Bean Shindell, Noelle Huser and Catherine Evans, and showcase images of Sydney Bryan. JRC is a pre-professional dance company at Dancers' Workshop for students ages 12-18 who strive to expand their technical and artistic dance ability. Co-directors Cady Cox and Lindsay Larson are the instructors and mentors of the 18-member Company.
