Thursday Dispatch: Drug offense and fake IDs

(Jackson, Wyo.) – Here is a recap of local dispatch and law enforcement activity from yesterday in the Town of Jackson and Teton County. All persons arrested or cited are presumed innocent until proven guilty. There were 60 calls to the area dispatch on Thursday, March 17. *Crime Reports and Arrests * Drug Offense: At 2:06 p.m. on Thursday, Jackson Police officers were dispatched to a hotel after housekeeping staff located what they believed to be marijuana and paraphernalia in a room. Prior to calling police, the cleaning staff took photos of the items and sent them to the hotel manager. Officers were shown the photos and agreed that the items appeared to be marijuana. Based on the information given to officers, a search warrant was obtained for the room and marijuana and paraphernalia was seized and three individuals were cited for possession of marijuana. Fake ID: At 11:15 p.m. on Thursday, Jackson Police officers were dispatched to a local bar in reference to three females attempting to gain entry using false identifications. The subjects were contacted and as a result the following threes subjects were cited for using a false identification in an attempt to obtain alcohol: Emily M Willis, 19, of Marblehead, MA, Grace K Murray, 20, of Nahant, MA and Sarah Grey Swirbul, 20, of New Canaan, CT. *Collisions* There were two auto collisions yesterday. *Other* Other dispatch reports included citizen assists, medical assists, animal control calls, road hazards, lost and found property, and traffic problems.
