Wednesday Dispatch: Theft, Drug Offense and 8 Auto Collisions

(Jackson, Wyo.) – Here is a recap of local dispatch and law enforcement activity from yesterday in the Town of Jackson and Teton County. All persons arrested or cited are presumed innocent until proven guilty. There were 66 calls to the area dispatch on Wednesday, March 16. *Crime Reports and Arrests * Theft: On Wednesday at 9:44 a.m., a subject reported to the Jackson Police Department that his work identification card and an electric toothbrush were stolen from a hotel room. Drug Offense: At 10:49 a.m. on Wednesday, TSA discovered a small amount of marijuana in passenger’s checked baggage. According to the Jackson Police Department, the marijuana was seized and the passenger who’s luggage it was in was issued a citation for possession of marijuana. Welfare Check: On Wednesday at 11:10 a.m., Jackson Police officers were dispatched to a welfare check. When they arrived, they discovered the parties were not in danger. However, the also found evidence of illegal narcotics and stolen property.
