Councilwoman Morton Levinson will seek re-election

(Jackson, Wyo.) - Today, Councilwoman Hailey Morton Levinson announced that she will run again for her seat on the Jackson Town Council. “I have enjoyed my time on council and have been honored to represent our community. I pride myself in seeking as much information as possible and listening to different opinions for each issue we face. Making well-informed, fair decisions is of utmost importance. I am seeking reelection to continue shaping the future of Jackson and ensure it remains the community we know and love,” said Morton Levinson. Raised in Jackson, Morton Levinson was the highest vote getter in both the 2012 primary and general elections for Jackson Town Council. She has served on the Town Council for three years and served as vice mayor since January 2015. In that time, Morton Levinson has worked with fellow electeds and the community to pass major initiatives including the Workforce Housing Plan, Integrated Transportation Plan, and updates to the Land Development Regulations. She serves as liaison to boards including the Energy Conservation Works, Chamber of Commerce, Travel and Tourism, and Pathways. She also serves on the Board for the Wyoming Association of Municipalities and will graduate from Leadership Wyoming in early May. Additionally, she is the assistant innkeeper for her family’s business, Inn on the Creek. "I have relied on Hailey as our community has. She is fair, prepared, smart and humble. Not only does she represent the balance of historical character and openness to opportunity for young, working families, but she handles pressure with resolve and calm. She cares about people more than ink," said Mayor Sara Flitner. *Feature Photo: Councilwoman Hailey Morton Levinson. h/t Hailey Morton Levinson / Pitchengine Communities* #buckrail #news
