Library to host free workshops on how to lower college costs

(Jackson, Wyo.) - The Teton County Library is offering more free educational workshops in April to prepare for higher education with the library’s College Prep Coordinator Nick Grenoble. The library and Teton County School District also collaborate on events to help students navigate all stages of the college application process. April workshops will highlight how to maximize ACT scores and compare financial aid awards. *THURS, APRIL 14* - 6-7:30 p.m. - Maximize Your ACT Score - Youth Auditorium - Get effective, last-minute tips to maximize your ACT score in the library's ACT prep class. *THURS, APRIL 21* - 6-7:30 p.m. - Comparing Financial Aid Award Letters - Youth Auditorium - Learn how to compare financial aid awards from different colleges, the questions to ask before signing any commitments, and how to renegotiate your offers to get more scholarship money.
