Tuesday Dispatch: DUI, and 2 Hit and Runs

(Jackson, Wyo.) – Here is a recap of local dispatch and law enforcement activity from yesterday in the Town of Jackson and Teton County. All persons arrested or cited are presumed innocent until proven guilty. There were 41 calls to the area dispatch on Tuesday, March 29. *Crime Reports and Arrests * Drug Offense/DUI: At 11:31 p.m. on Tuesday, a Jackson Police officer observed a vehicle driving erratically, including driving in the parking lane and straddling the center lane. The officer stopped the vehicle and contacted the driver to find that he appeared under the influence of controlled substances. The driver admitted to using marijuana and opiate-based substances. The driver was able to pass field sobriety testing, but was still arrested for being under the influence of controlled substances. The arrestee was Nathaniel Myers, 29, of Jackson. *Collisions* There were three auto collisions yesterday, including two hit and runs. *Other* Other dispatch reports included animal control calls, pedestrian stops, snow tow citations, driving complaints, lost and found property, road hazards, motorist assists, and citizen assists. *Feature Photo: h/t Pixabay / Pitchengine Communities* #buckrail #news
