Wednesday Dispatch: 2 drug reports and vandalism

(Jackson, Wyo.) – Here is a recap of local dispatch and law enforcement activity from yesterday in the Town of Jackson and Teton County. All persons arrested or cited are presumed innocent until proven guilty. There were 37 calls to the area dispatch on Wednesday, April 6. *Crime Reports and Arrests * Drug Offense: On Wednesday a 1:55 a.m., Jackson Police officers responded to a house party/noise complaint. When officers made contact, there was the overwhelming odor of marijuana coming from inside the home. While discussing the noise and marijuana issue, another resident of the house came down the hallway in view of the officers carrying a marijuana bong. Officers eventually cited two subjects for possession of a controlled substance; Conor Rice of Wellfleet, MA and Kerry Clark of Chittenden, VT. Destruction of Property: On Wednesday at 9:12 a.m., a Jackson Police officer responded to a report of graffiti. Someone had written the letters, “CRKS” in blue spray paint in an area where teenagers hang out before and after school. Drug Offense: At 10: 58 p.m., a Jackson Police officer responded to report of someone smoking marijuana at the front doors of a bar. Officers located and spoke with this subject, who consented to a search of his person. No measurable quantity of marijuana was found and the subject was not charged. *Collisions * There was one auto collision yesterday. *Other* Other dispatch reports included false alarms, medical assists, code enforcements, animal control calls, citizen assists, lost and found property and driving complaints. *Feature Photo: h/t Pixabay / Pitchengine Communities* #buckrail #news
