(Jackson, Wyo.) - Here are five free things to do this weekend: 1.* Stargazing at the Center for the Arts: *Starting at 7:30 p.m. tonight at the Center for the arts, Wyoming Stargazing is hosting free public stargazing event. They will be set up on the large lawn right next to the Center. During the stargazing events they will be using their giant Dobsonian Telescope with a 20″ primary mirror to look at planets, stars, nebulae, galaxies, and more. They will also bring several iPads with the Star Walk application installed on them so you can explore the heavens while others are looking through the telescopes. *2. Paul Sisson’s **Exhibit Opening:* Tonight from 5:30-7 PM, Center for the Arts will host an opening reception for Colorado-based photographer Paul Sisson’s exhibition Not So Far from Here in The Center Theater Gallery. Not So Far From Here is a unique photographic portrait of the Western American landscape. The images seek beauty in non-traditional places, show a crumbling rural culture, and find humor in simple and subtle ways. Sisson’s project emphasizes the journey, rather than the destination, and explores the things that can be found by slowing down and taking in the world that lies beyond the tunnel vision that so often dominates our daily lives. *3. Lauren Conrad & Pat Chadwick Performing Live:* Tonight and tomorrow night from 7:30 - 11 p.m. at the Silver Dollar Showroom, Lauren Conrad & Pat Chadwick will perform live. There is no cover to attend the show. *4. Last Day to Drop Off Your Taxes:* The Teton County Library will do your taxes for free, but Sunday is the last day for tax drop offs. Stop by the library's Computer Lab to drop off your tax information and complete a questionnaire. Then, return to review and sign your completed taxes. Call 307-733-2164 x333 for details. *5. Live Music with the Stagecoach Band: *On Sunday night starting at 6 p.m., the World Famous Stagecoach Band “Church”Stagecoach Bar Style will perform great country music and dancing This band has played every Sunday for over 40 years.
