Final meeting on downtown LDRs tonight

(Jackson, Wyo.) - The Town Council will hold a special meeting tonight at 6 p.m. to consider adopting the proposed District 2: Commercial Core Land Development Regulations text and zoning map amendments. According to Tyler Sinclair, the Town and County Planning Director, this meeting will address topics such as non-residential potential in District 2, lodging overlay in District 2, as well as workforce housing incentives. Town Council will also review key relevant changes to the draft District 2 LDRs. All documents associated with this meeting are now posted on-line and can be accessed via the Town of Jackson’s website ( Sinclair encourages the public to submit any comments regarding this topic in writing prior to the meeting. “In all likelihood this will be the final presentation of the proposed District 2 LDRs before Town Council moves to create an ordinance guiding future development and we are currently accepting public input to provide to the Town Council,” he said. If individuals have public comment regarding these proposed District 2 Commercial Core Land Development Regulations, they can be emailed to the Town of Jackson’s planning department or dropped off at the Town Hall. This meeting will be streamed live on the Town of Jackson’s website and the video will remain stored for future viewing and access.
