Have a soon-to-be kindergartener? Don't miss this.

(Jackson, Wyo.) - Parents: Do you have a child heading to kindergarten in the upcoming 2016-2017 school year? Tonight, Children’s Learning Center and Teton County Library will offer Kindergarten Information Night featuring local public and private school kindergarten teachers from Teton County School District, Journeys School, Jackson Hole Classical Academy, Timber Ridge Academy and Jackson Hole Christian Academy (pending). Hear directly from these teachers about program options, what to expect in kindergarten, as well as tips, strategies and routines for parents and early educators to help prepare children for the transition. “This is the third year we have offered these information nights, providing an opportunity for over 100 kindergarten teachers, parents and early educators each year to dialogue about how we, in each of our respective roles, can help our children make this important transition into elementary school,” said Patti Boyd from Children’s Learning Center. Tonight's event will be held at Jackson Elementary school at 20 N. Willow from 6 - 7:30 p.m. It is free and open to the public. There will be another Kindergarten Information Night on April 27. *Feature Photo: Colter Elementary School's 2015-2016 Student Council representatives taking their pledge. h/t TCSD / Pitchengine Communities* #buckrail #news
