JHHS named best high school in the state

The U.S. News and World Report recently released its nationwide rankings of high schools, and the publication has named Jackson Hole High School the best in Wyoming. The ranking puts them just above Laramie High, Sheridan High and Central High School in Cheyenne. This is due to two primary factors: low student/teacher ratio and a high college readiness score. JHHS's student/teacher ratio is 11:1, lower than many schools in Wyoming. As far as college readiness goes, 71 percent of JHHS students are in Advanced Placement courses with a 45 percent pass rate. And this ranking puts JHHS at a pretty good level nationally. It's 615 out of more than 21,000 schools. #buckrail #news
