Community Band Director Says Farewell with 'A Night at the Movies'

(Jackson, Wyo.) - Tomorrow night will be the Jackson Hole Community Band's final concert with long-time conductor Jennifer Levanduski. The Jackson Hole Community Bank will present "A Night at the Movies,” a cinematic musical journey through all your favorite movie themes. There will be music from Tombstone, Pixar, West Side Story, Lawrence of Arabia, and more. Composers include John Williams, Leonard Bernstein and Carl Orff. "It has been a privilege to lead this talented group of musicians! They have become family. We have created tremendous musical moments together. Conducting them has been the highlight of my career," said Levanduski. Levanduski has conducted the band for the past four years.
