More than 60 employers to talk to high school students today

(Jackson, Wyo.) - Today, the Jackson Workforce Center will host a job fair at Jackson Hole High School. From 2 - 4 p.m., there will be 62 employers at the high school to talk to students about employment from part-time seasonal jobs all the way to lifelong careers. "This Job fair has been going on for 20 year and it is an opportunity for students to interact with local employers and talk about jobs and careers," said Nancy Fox from the Jackson Workforce Center. "It is free of cost. The employers set up shop and then the school sends the students down in waves. They can go from table to table to speak to the employers and apply," said Jennie Swentosky from the Jackson Workforce Center. According to the Jackson Workforce Center, there are more employers at this year's fair than there were last year. There will also be prizes that are raffled off during the event. "We are excited to do this again," said Fox. "It is beneficial to employers and students as well." The job fair is sponsored by the Jackson Workforce Center, the Jackson Hole Chamber of Commerce and Jackson Hole High School. #buckrail #news #whatshappening
