Habitat Signs Long-Term Lease for Former Grand Teton Plaza Space

(Jackson, Wyo.) - Habitat for Humanity of the Greater Teton Area announced the signing of a long-term lease for its former location at 854 W. Broadway in the Grand Teton Plaza. Habitat, along with Chinatown Restaurant and several other businesses, was forced to find temporary space following a devastating fire in April of 2015. “We are extremely grateful to Salomon and Molly Ly for making this space available to Habitat once again and for their willingness to negotiate for a long-term sustainable lease,” said Gina Valencia, Interim Executive Director. “It will be wonderful, and certainly more economical, to have the Habitat family under one roof again.” Construction is significantly completed on the outer shell of the restored building. Tenant improvements for the businesses have begun and the ReStore will return to this location by mid-summer, with administrative offices to follow soon after. Habitat is financing the reconstruction efforts through insurance funds, available ReStore revenue and is currently seeking other funding sources. #buckrail #news
