Sandy Hessler to speak at CWC graduation this Sunday

(Jackson, Wyo.) - Start-Up Institute instructor Sandy Schultz Hessler will be the commencement speaker at the upcoming Central Wyoming College (CWC) ceremony honoring 20 Jackson-based students who will graduate with an associate’s degrees or certificates and nine graduates with their high school equivalency diplomas. "Excitement is in the air as the students prepare to walk across the stage, and for some, the ceremony marks the completion of two to three years of hard work," said CWC in a release. Students are already making plans for their next professional step. “I have my foot in the door at the local hospital, St. John’s. I currently work there as a CNA in three department areas. I hope to keep working there after I take my NCLEX (National Council Licensure Examination). After graduation the world is my horizon,” said Nursing student Stacie Tunison. The ceremony will be on Sunday, May 15 at the Center for the Arts Theater. The nurses pinning ceremony will begin at 3 p.m. featuring student speaker Amanda Edmonston and guest speaker Cindy Weber. The commencement ceremony for all CWC and high school equivalency graduates will begin after the pinning ceremony at around 4 p.m. A reception will follow in the theater lobby featuring light snacks prepared by the CWC culinary students. #buckrail #news
