Kidnapping suspects to return to Utah to face charges

(Pinedale, Wyo.) - Flint Wayne Harrison, 51, and Dereck James “DJ” Harrison, 22, were seen in Circuit Court in Pinedale today where they both accepted a waiver of extradition. At the initial hearing in Pinedale yesterday afternoon, both men expressed their desire to speak with attorneys prior to waiving extradition. The men, who are facing criminal charges including several counts each of kidnapping and assault, were wanted in connection with a case that occurred in Centerville, UT, on Wednesday, May 11. Dereck’s mother, Maryann Delrymple Harrison, 45, was also seen yesterday morning after she was arrested per a warrant alleging that she violated the terms of her probation when she left the state of Utah and arrived in Wyoming on Saturday where a multi-agency search was being conducted for her son. All three will be returned to Utah to face their respective charges. *Feature Photo: Flint Wayne Harrison, 51 (left), and his son, Dereck James “DJ” Harrison, 22, sit quietly while awaiting an extradition hearing in Circuit Court yesterday following their arrests over the weekend on warrants stemming from their involvement in the kidnapping and assault of a woman and her four daughters early last week in Centerville, UT. * #buckrail #news
