JHHS Girls Take Track and Field State Title for the First Time School History

(Casper, Wyo.) - At this weekend's State Track Meet, the Jackson Hole High School girls came out on top, winning the 3A division. The JHHS boys placed 8th in 3A. According to JHHS Track Coach Bill Wiley, JHHS took 9 girls and scored 83 points. Powell second with 81 and 8 time defending champion Cody was 3rd with 80. State champions include Anna Gibson in the 1600, 3200 and 4x800 relay; Abby Brazil in the 4x800 relay; Zoe Curran in the 4x800 relay; and Eireann O'Connor in the 4x800 relay. Additionally, five JHHS girls were listed as 3A All-State: - Amy Brazil - Zoey Curran - Anna Gibson - Eireann O'Connor - Amy Porter [image: Inline image 1] According to the Wyoming Coaches' Association guidelines, the All State honor is given to the top two finishers in each event and the winning relay team.
