Old West Days: *Happening all weekend (and Monday!), Old West Days includes a parade, the Old West Brew Fest, the Town Swuare Shootout, dancing and much, much more. *2. Canyon Kids at the Town Square Tavern: *Tonight starting at 10:30 p.m.,
the Canyon Kids will be playing a free show at the Town Square Tavern.
*3. Carnaval Dance on Town Square:* Following the Town Square Shootout at 6
p.m. on Saturday, from 6:30 - 9 p.m. under the tent on Deloney, join the
Shootout gang and members of the JH Playhouse for an Old West Street Dance
on the Town Square. All ages are welcome.
*4. Tour of the Historic Miller Ranch:* The historic Miller Ranch, located
approximately three quarters of a mile north of the National Elk Refuge
entrance on East Broadway Avenue in Jackson, will open for the season this
Sunday, May 29. The homestead will be open from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. daily,
including weekends, through mid-September. Entrance to the Miller House is
free of charge.
*5. Mountain Man Rendezvous and Traders Row: *This weekend, experience
history with a modern twist! Traders Row features refreshments and
hand-crafted goods along with interactive competitions featuring Bow &
Arrow, Hawk & Knife Competition, and more. The event is a perfect diversion
for families looking looking for an educational and cultural experience
(with the added bonus of the always-popular candy cannon!). It is from 9
a.m. - 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday at the Teton County Fairgrounds.
