Here is your ultimate guide to the 4th of July weekend in Jackson Hole: *July 2* *Teton Valley Balloon Rally* The Teton Valley Balloon Rally is a 501c3 non-profit organization, committed to keeping the magic of ballooning alive in the years to come. Starting in 2016, the Rally will provide a scholarship to a Balloon Federation of America Junior Balloonist Summer Camp to a dedicated and deserving middle or high school student. More details are available at www.tetonvalleyballoonrally.com. *Friends of Pathways' Skyline Trail Dig Day* On Saturday, July 2, from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m., Friind of Pathways is hosting a Skyline Trail Dig Day. Those interested will meet at the base of Snow King to ride the lift to the top OR bike/hike up to Ferrins Saddle. Friends of Pathways will provide coffee, lunch and tools. More information is at www.friendsofpathways.org. *Jackson Hole Rodeo* On Saturday, July 2 starting at 8 p.m., the rodeo is happening at the Teton County Fairgrounds.The rodeo blends a fine western tradition and a wonderful way to spend an evening as the sun sets over the Teton Range. Playing original music and crowd favorites, these guys have been entertaining Jackson Hole for years. *Concert on the Commons and Fireworks* On Sunday, July 3, in the Village Commons in Teton Village, There will be a live show and fireworks. Music by Head for the Hills will start at 8 p.m. Fireworks will follow at 10 p.m. *July 4* *4th of July Street Breakfast* Starting at 7 a.m., the JH Lions Club will host a 4th of July Street Breakfast. The community boosters will gather just off Town Square on Center Street for this annual tradition. Breakfast is $10 for adults, $5 for kids 4 to 8-years old, and free for kids three-years old and under. *4th of July 10K* On Monday, July 4th starting at 8 a.m., is the annual 4th of July 10K Race to benefit Friends of Pathways. The course begins in front of the Wilson Community Center at Owen Bircher Park in Wilson and travels out and back on the flat to gently rolling terrain of Fish Creek Road. Walkers start at 7:45 a.m. and the gun sounds for runners at 8:00 a.m. *Fourth of July Parade* Starting at 10:30 a.m. on Town Square, The Fourth of July Parade is a Jackson Hole tradition featuring many community businesses, nonprofit organizations, government offices, politicians, individuals, musicians, friends, family, dogs, horses, classic cars, and more. The route travels down Snow King Avenue to Glenwood, turning on Broadway, and ending on Willow Street. Judging of the parade entries will take place as they pass the grandstand located on Town Square. *20th Annual PIG NIC Fest with Screen Door Porch, The Lonesome Heroes, 86* Held at the Knotty Pine in Victor, this is a 4th of July celebration with tons of slow cooked pig and free music featuring 86 (12p), Austin's psych-country band The Lonesome Heroes (2p), and high-energy roots-rock/Americana with Screen Door Porch (4p). The event is open to all ages and runs from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. Town Square Shootout At 6 p.m. in Town Square, watch a lively reenactment of frontier justice on the Jackson Town Square in what is the longest, continuously running shootout show in the country! Jackson Hole Rodeo Starting at 8 p.m., the rodeo is happening at the Teton County Fairgrounds.
