Cache Creek Drive Sewer Replacement Project starts Tuesday

(Jackson, Wyo.) - The Cache Creek Drive Sewer Replacement Project will be commencing on Tuesday, July 5. According to the Town of Jackson Public Works Department, the scope of this project involves replacement of approximately 2700 linear feet of clay sewer main with new PVC piping, manholes, and service connections beginning just east of the bridge on Cache Creek Drive, continuing east to the hill east of Lodgepole Lane, and including Lodgepole Lane. The project is scheduled to be completed by the end of September. Construction operations to mill the roadway surface and excavation to install the new piping will require that vehicular travel be reduced to single lane alternating during the majority of construction working hours. However, full closure to vehicular travel will occur occasionally due to the location of the sewer main alignment as it makes its way east along Cache Creek Drive past Rancher Street. Trailhead users are kindly asked to use alternate trailhead access/parking/starting points or to run/ride/walk in an effort to avoid travel delays and traffic congestion. Pedestrian/Bicycle access to residences within the vicinity of the project area will be available at all times. The roadway will be open to travel on nights and weekends. *Feature Photo: h/t Andrew Hayward via Flickr / Pitchengine Communities* #buckrail #news
