Jackson Hole community plans for “Great American Eclipse”

(Jackson, Wyo.) - It’s been called the “Great American Eclipse,” and Jackson Hole has been named by those in the know as one of the best places in the country to watch it. Mid-morning on Aug. 21, 2017, the path of a total eclipse of the sun will cross directly above Teton County and Grand Teton National Park. This rare event may present a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for many to view a total eclipse, but for Jackson Hole, it also presents the challenge of extra crowds at a time when the valley is typically already filled with summer visitors.
